The 18-unit market-rate development is an infill development proposal for a vacant site in the heart of one of San Francisco's busiest and dynamic neighborhoods.

The context of this site features older brick buildings, some industrial warehouses and non descriptive multistory housing from 1970's. the developer desired a simple concept that fit into the neighborhood. The designed building has a modern metal and glass central volume which is wrapped in brick to echo the past. The corner facing the busy intersection is accentuated with a prominent and projecting all glass rectangular volume designed to capture views on either side. A raised podium rear courtyard on the south side of the plot, is accessible to all the home owners.
